How PPC Helps in Internet Marketing?
PPC, Pay per Click, is an Internet Marketing Tool that is receiving a lot of attention these days. In PPC, the search engine or the blog on which the advertisement has been placed doesn’t charge a fixed fee from the advertiser. Instead, the advertiser has to pay for each click the user has done on the advertisement in order to reach its website. Companies can have their ads. appearing on the side-bars of search engine when certain keywords are searched. The rate for each click, often called Cost per Click (CPC), is determined according to the demand for those particular keywords (listed by the advertiser) that displays particular pages on the search engine or any other blog on which the ad. is visible.
PPC is one of the most modern marketing technologies to attract potential customers to the company’s website & if used intelligently, can very quickly turn a user into a company’s customer. So, if a company is interested in quick results, then PPC campaign should definitely be one of the components of its internet marketing plan, as it can be a good investment for a company in a highly competitive & rapidly growing market.
Just like any other marketing campaign, the long-term goal of a PPC campaign is also to earn more money than is spent on it. For this, a thorough calculation has to be done in order to find the cost per click the company should go for to maximize its ROI (Return on Investment).
Since management of PPC marketing is a time consuming job & requires constant data analysis through strong understanding of internet marketing, many companies take professional help from internet marketing companies who have expertise in this field. This helps in tracking the result in a much professional & effective manner.
For a PPC campaign to be effective, one must select the keywords or phrases very carefully e.g., the ones that describe company’s products, so that the maximum number of potential customers are attracted towards the website furnishing desired results for the company. Various tools are available on the internet for this purpose, some of which are even free. Besides, it’s better to have a different ad. for each set of words rather than to have a single ad. appearing for all the sets of keywords. You can also plan in such a way that with each type of ad. linked to a particular set of keywords, the user lands on a desired page of the website.
PPC advertising is viable to click fraud that has been a hot topic on internet since last few years. In a click fraud, someone just keeps clicking the ad. in order to add to the cost of the advertiser without having any interest in the website. This might be done by a spiteful competitor, a dishonest advertising company or anybody who is against the company. Different methods have been used by advertising companies in order to deal with such situations including the use of various software that track whether the click is genuine or not.

Where to learn the Internet marketing basics from?
I really want to make some extra money working from home and am interested in learning Internet marketing. I currently stay at home with my two little kids but would be able to devote about 25 hours a week to Internet marketing. It’s just that I don’t know where to start. Where do I find some great resources that help me with the Internet marketing basics as all the websites I have come across are not for absolute beginners like me?

When I first got into Internet marketing, I felt the same way that you do. I felt completely overwhelmed until I came across a website by Matt Bacak. He broke down what I should be doing and how to get started with the Internet marketing basics instead of assuming I knew how to find keywords or how to set up a website.
I have now been working from home doing marketing since my son was born about 10 months ago. Like you, I only have time for part-time, around 20 or so hours a week (sometimes less, sometimes more), but I have been able to make at least $1000 a month for the past 4 months just by following the advice I got on http://www.mattbacak.com.
This month looks like I will actually surpass $1,000 as I got lucky with some great sales a couple of days ago. I have to say, once you learn the basics and find your niche, it is amazing at how successful you can be.

Hi Bennie,
Good to hear of a person that wants to take control of their financial future, stay home, and take care of their children.
Internet Marketing can be a strange world for beginners. So much information to take in, so much to learn, so many people who want your hard-earned cash. This article will explain all about Internet Marketing for beginners and how you can start profiting today.
So let’s get right into it.
You should be reading this answer if you haven’t made any money online yet, are just starting out and need to re-learn the basics, or even if you still consider yourself a beginner in Internet Marketing.
There are main methods of making money online:
1) Selling Your Own Stuff
This involves creating an information product such as a PDF report containing a guide for something (how to lose weight, for example), an audio or video series, and/or tutorials. Basically you should be selling your visitors information which solves a problem that they’re currently having.
Even if you’re a beginner in the niche you’re selling to, you can still collect information from elsewhere and compile it into a completely new product.
You can see why this is particularly effective in modern society, as we’re increasingly becoming an information-based society to improve our skills to solve problems.
However, if you’re an Internet Marketing beginner, you should avoid ‘popular’ niches such as weight loss, health and fitness, and the make money online niche.
2) Selling Other People’s Stuff – ‘Affiliate Marketing’
This is particularly effective for making easy cash, as someone else has already created a product FOR YOU, so you can jump straight into the marketing side of it to make some quick cash (which is what beginners usually enjoy).
Essentially, you sell someone else’s product for a split of the profit, set by the product owner, usually as a percentage. This is called a ‘commission’.
When you sign up to their affiliate programme, you’ll be given a special link which you should send to your customers to order through. When someone orders through your link, the product owner will see it and pay you the agreed commission.
3) Advertising Revenue
The basic idea here is to build a website in a specific niche to receive a lot of visitors (‘traffic’) and eventually put advertising on it when it grows popular. This may be tough as a beginner, so it’s usually best to create some authority for your personal brand to begin with.
Probably the most popular advertising advertising revenue source is ‘Google AdSense’. All you have to do is copy and paste a unit of code on your website to display their advertisements, and you get paid every time someone clicks on one of the advertisement links.
Finally, there’s advertising banners. These aren’t as popular as they were previously, mainly due to losing their responsiveness and getting damn annoying, but are still a good source of income for people who consider themselves beginners at Internet Marketing.
So with all of these choices available to you, which is the most profitable in the long term? The answer: Creating and selling your own product. This is because you have freedom to change anything – the price, the offer, the product… Anything! Also, it’s easier keep customers in the long term, which you wouldn’t usually get with affiliate promotions.
I’ve come across a coaching club that will take you step by step on how to build a six figure a month online business from home. This is something you can work for about 2-4 hours a day and take care of your two little ones. Check the resource box for the website. Hope this helps you out.

The word welcome means nothing, because it is assumed that every customer is welcome. Most importantly, the word welcome takes up vital space in your title tag, which is the most important tag on your website. Search engines expect the title tag to define the site. Use this opportunity to state your product or service and location.
You must know who your customer is, and what he (or she) wants. This may seem easy, but many major companies have spent millions of dollars on research to discover they were wrong. In 1982 Cadillac did a large survey and found that 65% of their buyers selected a Cadillac for prestige, while only 27% bought the car because they felt it was a great vehicle. As a result of this survey, Cadillac spent less on ads that stressed quality, and began to issue special "Gold Cards" to identify Cadillac owners when they came in for service.
Make your company easy to find. Your telephone number should be on the Contact page. When a consumer is shopping, they want answers now, not an email tomorrow. Many consumers hate to fill out online forms. By providing a direct email link and a telephone number, you are making it easy for a potential customer to contact you, which will greatly increase the odds that someone will do business with you.
Some more points are there to follow.

There is a relatively new program that has some incredible resources that you would really like. It’s a pay service, but you can get full access to the entire program for free for two weeks. All you have to do is sign up, and if you don’t want to continue with it you don’t have to pay a dime.
For example, you will find a recorded webinar with Gospel Jackson (the 22 year old marketer who makes 30k+ per month on the internet), in which he teaches the basics of marketing. It’s pretty incredible, as these are eye-opening lessons that you can apply to the rest of your life, not just the marketing world.
You’re also going to find a lot of other resources that help you make money, some of them don’t even require you to recruit anyone or sell anything.
It’s more than worth your time to check it out. Like I said, if you don’t like it, it won’t cost you a dime.
