The Magnetic Sponsoring System by Mike Dillard has lost the Title of the Funded Proposal Champion to Daegan Smith and his Power Prospecting System!

Both systems have some similarities in that they:

-Allow Affiliates to earn on one time and residual purchases and tracks everything -Provide Massive Value (Content is King) -Help you to Acquire Leads (later, I will discuss what type of leads you get from each program)

The differences in these systems are of significance too… as a matter of fact…..these two systems made for a Great Match-Up between these two Funded Proposal Masters. After my analysis of both systems, I have seen both Daegan and Dillard go toe-to-toe with each other and almost TKO each other, but Daegan delivered the final Power Punch by adding the most important feature in his system… what is it you ask?

Well, besides all of the other things that I will be discussing throughout the rest of this article, the most important thing about Daegan’s system is that it allows you to BRAND YOURSELF from the very beginning. THIS IS CRUCIAL, I hope you understand. So. the people you send through this Funded Proposal funnel see you from the very beginning… your name, email address, and phone number, your main company website, and picture (p.s. you choose which of this you want to be included).

Okay, I need to continue this by saying Mike Dillard’s book Magnetic Sponsoring was one of the best books I have ever read on becoming and Alpha Leader and if you are familiar with Dillard’s funded proposal, you know his products are stellar. Also, another good thing about Dillard’s system is that there is a community of networkers, which you can choose to network with if you would like to. I have used Magnetic Sponsoring in the past and it is a good funded proposal system and I will always make money from it even though I will not promote or market it much anymore.

But to continue on… the thing with Dillard’s system is unfortunately “Your Prospects” are basically being branded with Mike Dillard’s name, pictures, emails, and stories, each time they get an email from him, which, do not brand you at all, whatsoever….zilch…..na-da….nothing….get the hint…as a matter of fact he never even mentions your name anywhere… (oops..kinda makes you think right?

Quick Tangent- I see Anne Sieg’s “The Renegade Network Marketer” as very similar to Mike Dillard’s sytem, she is also Branding herself and not you… so in my opinion, if you are not branding yourself… then you are branding someone else….right?

If you are a Network Marketer/Internet Network Marketer/Home Business Owner, why would you put so much of your time & energy into a system that does not allow you to brand yourself from the beginning? Using article marketing to generate targeted traffic to landing pages is about as smart as it gets. But you need to be ready!

If so, you might consider the Three Things you need to have in place to assure success.

What are these Three Things?

The first of these ideas is to present only one offer per web page (salespage). This doesn’t mean you can’t offer bonuses on the page. Actually you should!

Focus your efforts on the product, but especially the BENEFITS of the product to your visitor. That’s really what they are considering! They are naturally concerned with what it will do for them. Make that clear.

The second of these three things is to get the customer’s name and email address. Some people say this is the single most important goal to a sales page.

The reasoning behind that, is that, on average, a sale is closed on the seventh closing attempt. That is why you see such low closing ratios in Internet Marketing when compared to Brick and Mortar retail. In retail stores we expect a closing ratio of better than 1 in 10.

When you compare that to the often stated average closing ratio on a sales page expressed as 1 in 100 you can easily see that you must ask them to buy MORE THAN ONCE!

The way you do this is with name and address capture and an autoresponder!

Here’s a good tip. When you are getting the opt ins from a salespage that is promoting, for example, website software, put those opt ins on a list named “website software”.

Write the autoresponder series to concentrate on the benefits of that particular web page design software and send it to that list. As the “benefits of website software” messages increase, so will there be a corresponding increase in sales.

Say you have 100 people come to your offer in one day. You could expect one sale by the 1 in 100 formula that we all hear so often. The other 99 didn’t buy but maybe 10 of them opted in to your “website software benefits mini-course”.

Now you are building your list of customers interested in web page software AND by the time the 5th to 10th message reaches them you’ll have another sale or two. This is huge.

If your closing ratio is raised from 1 in 100 to 2 in 100 you have doubled your sales with the addition of an autoresponder. And you built your list!

That is only one day so in two you’d have more and in a month. Cool!

The third of these Three Things that works with the other two so well to insure success is to make certain that the traffic reaching your sales page is traffic that is interested in website software.

The two most common ways of doing this are PPC and Article Marketing. PPC is fast and doesn’t last and Article Marketing is slower, but it builds and lasts. Ideally you run both…IF you can afford the keywords. Go for two articles a week. To get that done I aim at 3 per week.

To write the right article, grab the right keywords and aim for keyword density around 3-5%. Have your BEST keyword toward the front of the title and same for introductory paragraph.

If you haven’t been using all three of these methods in your affiliate marketing efforts just look at what you will have accomplished.

You’ll have sales pages presenting one product and it’s benefits. The traffic headed to your salespage will be sorted by your keywords to be the ones most likely to respond to the offer.

And finally, you will be building a narrow focus list and raising your closing ratio for more sales at the same time.

Do this. Get good at it. You’ll be glad you did.
